It emerged as a necessity in the face of human rights violations that migrants and their families suffer each and every day in all regions of the world.\u00a0 We are also conscious that similar mobilizations will be carried out in various countries on the 1st of May. The idea came out of the international meeting of human rights organizations that took place in Buenos Aires in June 2014. The objectives of the global mobilization include: <!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrate the diverse infringements of human rights that affect migrants, asylum seekers and refugees \u2013 and their families \u2013 across of the world.<\/li>\n<li>Highlight the relationship between migration and work, in relation to both the structural causes of migration and to the situations of migrant workers in their countries of transit and destination<\/li>\n<li>Strengthen alliances between organizations that work in defense of human rights in general and the rights migrants in particular, including associations of migrants, human rights organizations, labour unions, and academic institutions among many others, at the local, national, regional and global levels.<\/li>\n<li>Promote the effective ratification and \/ or implementation of the conventions for the protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and their Families and Convention s97 and 143 of the ILO, as well as the application of all other ILO Conventions and regional and universal human rights treaties to the migrant population.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p>\u00a0It is important to note that this is not a campaign led by one or various organizations. Rather, this is a call for all people and institutions that would like to participate and join this initiative, whether at the local, national, regional or global level, to organize a mobilization in their own cities and countries, in alliance with other organizations and networks with whom they work.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>If you are organizing similar activities on 1 May 2015 or you would like to participate in the global mobilization, please let us know. Tambi\u00e9n somos conscientes que en diversos pa\u00edses se realizan acciones similares los d\u00edas 1ro. de Mayo. La idea surgi\u00f3 en un encuentro internacional de organizaciones de derechos de migrantes que se realiz\u00f3 en Buenos Aires en junio de 2014 . Entre sus objetivos est\u00e1n:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>evidenciar las diversas vulneraciones a los derechos humanos que afectan a migrantes, solicitantes de asilo y refugiados \u2013y sus familiares- a lo largo y ancho del mundo;<\/li>\n<li>destacar la relaci\u00f3n entre las migraciones y el trabajo, tanto en lo relativo a las causas estructurales de la migraci\u00f3n como en cuanto a la situaci\u00f3n de trabajadores y trabajadoras migrantes en pa\u00edses de tr\u00e1nsito y destino,<\/li>\n<li>fortalecer las alianzas entre organizaciones que trabajan en defensa de los derechos humanos, en general, y derechos de migrantes en particular, incluyendo asociaciones de migrantes, organizaciones de derechos humanos, sindicatos, instituciones acad\u00e9micas, entre muchas otras, tanto a nivel local como nacional, regional y global;<\/li>\n<li>promover la ratificaci\u00f3n y\/o implementaci\u00f3n efectiva de la Convenci\u00f3n para la protecci\u00f3n de los derechos de todos los trabajadores migrantes y sus familias, los Convenios 97 y 143 de la OIT, as\u00ed como la aplicaci\u00f3n a la poblaci\u00f3n migrante de todos los dem\u00e1s Convenios de la OIT y los tratados regionales y universales de derechos humanos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p>Es muy importante aclarar que no se trata de una campa\u00f1a liderada por una o varias organizaciones, sino que busca que todas las personas e instituciones que quieran participar y convocar a esta iniciativa, sea a nivel local, nacional, regional o global, puedan organizar la movilizaci\u00f3n en su propia ciudad y pa\u00eds, en alianza con otras organizaciones y redes con las cuales trabajan.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Sin perjuicio de ello, algunas organizaciones desarrollaremos algunas herramientas de difusi\u00f3n en la cual se pueda reunir la informaci\u00f3n de todas las actividades que se realizar\u00e1n en el marco de esta campa\u00f1a. Entre ellas, hemos creado el blog <a href=\"http:\/\/marchaglobalderechosmigrantes.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">http:\/\/marchaglobalderechosmigrantes.blogspot.com\/<\/a> (<a href=\"http:\/\/globalmobilizationmigrantsrights.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">http:\/\/globalmobilizationmigrantsrights.blogspot.com\/<\/a>, en ingl\u00e9s).<\/p>\n<p>Por ello, tambi\u00e9n les invitar\u00edamos que, en caso que planifiquen la realizaci\u00f3n de alguna actividad, compartan esa informaci\u00f3n de modo que pueda confluir en un mismo sitio la informaci\u00f3n sobre las acciones a desarrollar en cada lugar. Ello permitir\u00e1 por un lado dar visibilidad al car\u00e1cter global de esta acci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como a promover y\/o fortalecer la articulaci\u00f3n entre diferentes actores que tienen como objetivo com\u00fan la garant\u00eda efectiva de todos los derechos humanos para toda la poblaci\u00f3n migrante, solicitante de asilo y refugiada.<\/p>\n<ol famille).<\/p>\n<p>Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une id\u00e9e survenue lors d\u2019une rencontre internationale d\u2019organisations pour les droits des migrant(e)s qui a eu lieu \u00e0 Buenos Aires en juin
