{"id":988,"date":"2016-01-14T12:32:31","date_gmt":"2016-01-14T04:32:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mfasia.org\/stepitup\/?p=988"},"modified":"2016-06-02T15:43:44","modified_gmt":"2016-06-02T07:43:44","slug":"cambodia-hosts-civil-society-forum-on-cmw","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cmw25.mfasia.org\/?p=988","title":{"rendered":"Cambodia Hosts Civil Society Forum on CMW"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On\u00a018 December 2015,\u00a0Legal Support for Children and Women (LSCW) and Migrant Forum in Asia with support from Migration and Development Civil Society Network (MADE) and European Commission organized a one day forum for CSOs on the protection of the rights of migrant workers in the context of labour migration. The forum was also organized to celebrate the 25<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of the Convention of Migrant Workers and\u00a0was attended by approximately 60 participants from NGOs, Trade Unions, Students, Recruitment agencies and migrant workers in Cambodia.<\/p>\n<p>The forum aims to increase awareness on the UN Convention 1990 on The Protection The Rights Of Migrant Workers And Members Of Their Families, the ILO Convention On Migrant Worker,\u00a0and the ASEAN Declaration on The Promotion And Protection The Right Of Migrant Workers.
